Installing Suite with Standard already installed?

Can anyone tell me if Suite will install over Standard and replace it or will I end up with 2 separate installations taking up extra disk space? I don't really want this situation because its obviously pointless. Is it easier just to uninstall Standard first? Have emailed support about this but god knows when they will reply. Thanks

You didn't say if you're thinking of doing a version upgrade or not. I installed Live 9 Suite over Live 8 Standard. After the upgrade, all that was left of Live 8 was the Live 8 Library. So it upgraded and kept the bits I wanted.

If you're upgrading from 9 Standard to 9 Suite my guess is that it will just download the extra instruments and packs, and you'll have to do some of those manually, but you might want to wait for a reply from someone who's done this.
