I have tried to route everything to a second master channel, solo out a track and record a small part of it in there.
However there is a big latency problem and i can't just drag the recorded file without adjusting the timing first.
Exporting a selected part of an audio channel is possible, however I'd like to use any quicker method. (menues take up time)
Freezing a track and and copying a rendered part also takes up too much time imo. (don't wanna render the entire channel)
My issue may sounds a little exaggerated, but it constantly hinders my workflow. If you have any better method for bouncing selected audio parts I'll be grateful if you share it.
Best regards
Efficient way to bounce small audio bits?
Re: Efficient way to bounce small audio bits?
Eh?
I do this all the time, with no latency issues.
make new audio channel, set its input to "resampling", arm it. Record every that's playing into a clip.
that should be it!
I just checked for latency issues by putting 16 compressors with 10ms lookahead in various places in the signal chain, and the resampled clip lined up perfectly all on its own.

Re: Efficient way to bounce small audio bits?
Routing from Master and recording into a new track has latency, whereas routing from Resampling doesn't - even though it's still the audio coming from Master.
Try Resampling instead?

Select the edited clips, then right click and choose Crop Clips. All the clips will now be edited down (even if they were fine before) and placed in the crop folder in your live folder.

Thanks for your effort everyone. Don't know why i haven't tried that option so far, it works perfectly.Angstrom wrote:Eh?
