Hi, I am not an owner of Live yet but I hope you can answer this question as if it is possible, I am definitely going to be picking up this wonderful piece of software ASAP.
At my local music store, they've been letting me tinker around with their copy there on site and I am very happy with it except I am wonderg how you would go about adding rows to a file you are playing with. I intend to use this to play live and am using a Roland Groovebox to trigger the loops. WIth all it's channels and octaves I will be able to set up controls for a few hundred loops.
THe version of Live 2.0 ive been messing around with I can add the vertical columns for new tracks but how do I add a new horizontal row at the bottom. Ive only seen it go up to 20 and cant figure out how to add more. I want to be able to do a 2-3 hour set live when I use it and that won't end up being enough for me to load enough loops for that. Is this possible? Or is there a way to load a new file without having to stop playback of the current audio instead?
Thanks, sorry for the loaded question but its important to me if I am going to commit to purchasing and learning this software.
Jason
