Hi there, this might be a "strange" question, but I'm not able to drag my samples to the Drum Rack pads, which are at the top.
Here's a picture, I'd like to drag my drums straight to the red arrow, but they always end where the blue arrow is: http://www.mzee.com/forum/index.php?att ... 5-png.228/
...so that I have to drag them one by one up. Can someone help?

I dunno. Every so often someone asks a question on the forum and someone replies on the lines of "The thing you're trying to do is wrong! You shouldn't be doing that in the first place!"
And I really don't want to be that guy because really, you bought the software and you can use it however you please.
But.
GM drum layout (which is shared by most software and hardware drum machines) starts with a kick on C1, where Ableton wants you to start. If you use that layout you can export MIDI files to other software and the right drum will be played in the right place. You can see what drums belong where by hovering a mouse over a pad and a GM suggestion will appear in the little strip at the bottom.
Launchpad layout is slightly different but still starts with C1. Push's drum sequencer layout starts with C1, as do AKAI MPDs and LPDs and every other drum pad layout I've ever come across, as well as electronic drum kits (which trigger C1 MIDI note with the kick) most of which are GM layout.
So I'm guessing Ableton defaults to this, and maybe there's a way to change the default, but I don't know it. But what I can say is, if you stick to GM or Push layout, you'll thank Ableton for it later when you want to use drum pads or similar.
If you know all this and have reasons of your own for not going with the standard layout, my apologies.

Well, I had to change the layout from the LPD8. (long story cut short)

There is also a way to set your controller and Live up so that whichever section is highlighted, the MPD will trigger those slots.
