Live, Ozone and MPC1000 sync?

Post by DFENS » Sun Aug 21, 2005 11:06 pm

Anyone using Live with an MPC1000 and Ozone?

If so, how have you got your audio and MIDI latency setup in Live's preferences?

Cheers

Well, just connect them together and adjust the latencies until it sounds good?

Do you want to route the MPC into live or are you going to use an external mixer for everything? Do you want to use the MPC's sequencer or Live's or both?

What kind of MIDI and audio interface do you have? Please be more specific.

BTW, use the MPC as midi master if you can.

I have an Ozone audio / midi interface.

I just wanted to know what audio / midi latency settings other people are using with this setup.

Routing the audio is not a problem.

hey DFENS

i have the same question, i set the latency as far as it would go and still was off with the MPC. i was using live 3, so im hoping the newer versions of this program have more flexibility with the latency settings to acommodate the MPC. since you haven't got an answer yet and i have no idea, is there some other forum that might be more helpful? is there a yahoo group? i figure two heads are better than one and i really want to get ableton communicating correctly with my MPC so lemme know if you find anything out and i will do the same

Anyone??

I too really want to know the answer to this question.

I have the opportunity to buy an old MPC2000XL, which I really want to intergragte into my live set but I have not been able to find anyone who has got the two to sync together.

Help!! :?:
