is it possible for live 4 to use any of the emulation modes for the bcf-2000?
if not, is anybody able to set up the bcf-2000 to control fader grooups 1-8,9-16,etc.?
if yes, can you explain how to do it so that a noob could understand?
i just received a bcr-2000, and am not able to get the pro 53 preset to do anything with my pro 53 in live. behringer tech support told me that it might only be possible in pro 53's standalone mode.
i have not been able to use the bcr's learn mode either. it is not complicated but unfortunately doesn't want to work. behringer tech told me that it is better to use the midi map mode in live anyway.
i assume using midi map mode in live 4 i will be able to map all my plugins including uad-1 to the bcr-2000 and save as the default template in live. is there a better way to do this?
thanks

thank you for your replies.
i understand that the emulation mode is just for the bcf-2000.
i am wondering if it will work with live 4 in one of the emulation modes.
i know live 5 is supposed to have support for mackie control universal. however i don't want to be a beta tester.
are you using the bcf with live 4?
if so, which emulation mode if any are working for you?
and if you are not in emulation mode, can you still assign, say, the preset buttons (as they are on the emulation) to switch banks of faders?
thanks.
