Multiple outputs and recording

Post by whj » Fri Feb 13, 2015 8:59 pm

I'm having some trouble recording straight into arrangement view from Drumazon. I have it set up with multiple outputs on separate tracks but when I hit record the clip is transparent/greyed out. The sound only appears to be coming straight from Drumazon, rather than me being able to record it in and it played from that.

I don't usually use session view, surely there's a way to do this in arrangement? As usual its probably really simple when you know how.

Thanks in advance for any help.

someone setup a drum rack that routes all the outs within the rack. very handy and might be what you need here. google around for it and hit me up if you cant find it.

Found the drum rack on the d16 forum. It was pretty much the same setup but good to drop in for speed of use in future.

I had the same problem, but finally managed to fix it! Despite all the Youtube videos and pictures I've seen showing 'In' on the i/o monitoring I changed it to 'Auto' and it seems to have solved it. One of those simple things that you just need to know I guess. Completely overlooked it because it said to have it on 'In' everywhere.
