Any1 else screwed by camel audio going under?

Recent customer of camel audio having purchased alchemy just before Christmas last year. Completely surprised to see the sudden demise of this company but more surprised in lack of any customer contact to warn about removal of download links to purchased software. I found out second hand through google a month too late it seems.

So now no possibility of maintaining my investment if i need to reinstall then bye bye alchemy. Thx camel audio see u around.

I was pretty bummed as Alchemy Mobile is my favorite iOS synth at the moment. Camel Audio provided links to download the packs that came with it to registered users though, so they could back them up and reinstall. You should definitely contact them if you didn't get an email explaining all that.

I've sent an email but their statement says the products and support finish after the January 7th date. I find out today passing by kvr

Must've been a buyout by some major company like Apple, NI, Avid, etc.
Everything that's happened with them being so mum about details reeks of a buyout by someone who will release competing products.

Maybe apple are planning on releasing a "Kontakt Killer" sampler....? What with their acquisition of "Redmatica" a few years ago and now Camel audio...

in the movie, Irrelevance is played by Keanu Reeves and Camel Toe is played by Milla Jovovich. The ending is sappy and the plot has a few holes in it... it's mostly another feel good story with an uphill struggle.
