Okay, that got me to chuckle. And it's way too early in the morning for that... :)

Nice interweaving of samples. Particularly like how you worked the vocal samples into the rhythm. The whole piece really flows.

Really nice chill tune with a great rhythm. Really like how you have a solid beat but layer over it with organic pads. It had me groovin'.

This is my next assignment for the Coursera/Ableton class. The new additions changed the track from Downtempo to Surf Jazz. Who knew that was hiding in there? LOL

Don't need any more training...paid my dues in the 80's with real studio gear when I went through that brief phase, but then I'm not really a "tracks" guy...that's the domain of the sound engineers. My mission in life is to give the tracks guys the raw materials they use to do their thing...and I/we've been doing it live for decades, not in our bedrooms with a laptop.

I hear a lot of room for some 80's new wave (ish) vocals...

this is another improvisation me and manuel did last week. i recorded it straight from the mixer as one track then eq'd and mastered it a bit in ableton afterwards. half an hour of booze fuelled experimental dub with found sounds and noises. me using my midi one stringed bass and him using his home made zenoid midi controller and drum machine

it's taken me most of the day to upload it at work via a shit dodgy internet conection on my phone, so enjoy it :)

cheers
21 minutes! :) It flowed very nice, and complimented my listening to OM just before.

cheers
