The VoiceLive I nominated earlier must have learned of my fuming here, today it processed a fine track.
I ran the same saved vocal and MIDI track through it as 3 days ago. Only an insane person would repeat the same exact steps and expect different results; or a VoiceLive owner. And indeed, the last time the harmonies came out "mbwowmbhmm" mushy, today they came out crisp and punchy.
I don't even try to understand this thing anymore. I just use it according to the rules of illogic.

i remember that Logitech driver debacle.Machinesworking wrote:I'm a Logitech guy, love their mice, Got a MX Revolution, hardly move it and it's gold, although one driver a few years back hosed Live's beat clock until they fixed it.
typically, Logitech are all i buy for keyboard and/or mouse aftermarket purchases.

My presonus firestudio which I won in a computer music mag comp! It caused me nothing but problems, now doesn't work at all!!! It's now discontinued (suprise, suprise).
Note:
I'm thankful for winning the prize, just not the hassle that went with it

A long time Logitech user here. Just got the G302 mainly for playing DOTA 2, but works well with daily task too. It works without any driver in windows 8.1. Using it with the G440 Hard Surface mouse pad is an enjoyable experience.Machinesworking wrote:I'm a Logitech guy, love their mice, Got a MX Revolution, hardly move it and it's gold, although one driver a few years back hosed Live's beat clock until they fixed it.

QuNeo!! It sucks so bad that it is unbelievable for its price tag.
I'm sold by the idea of pad controller which can do so much. Also came with faders that can function as motorized fader too so I bought one.
Then my dream shattered when I actually using it. It is way too filmsy! The thinness that they advertised is actually the weakness. The needed firmness when banging pads is simply not here. This is rarely mentioned anywhere but I realize how important it is when I touched QuNeo. It is not sticking well to the desk at all and reaction force doesn't feel good and only device thick enough and has good rubber base + good material can solve this. Coupled with pad's material itself. I think it is a worst kind of plastic to use for pads. It is a hard, slippery, feel-cheap pad. Worse than any pad I have came across (I used MPD18, LPD8, NanoPad, Arturia's pad, Launchpad Mini they are all better than this expensive toy.)
Buttons are also bad. They hardly felt like 'pressed' when I press it. It's too shallow and wobbly. (Can shake left and right when you press it)
And don't buy into 'ruggedness' they advertise! It is the complete opposite. They prove it with a truck running over QuNeo but that isn't even relevant. Of course it doesn't break if you think about it carefully. Extrememely flat things being runned over. Paper would not budge if elephant stepped on it. In controller world rugged means good stable feel when you use it.
No matter how much function it offer I have no desire to use it at all. It's no fun to use.
