help - ALL plug in and effect presets have disappeared

all my native live plugin, operator, impulse and effect presets [both original and user] have gone. i dont know whats going on. the drops downs dont contain anything???

help.

Hi,
please let me ask a couple of questions:

when did the presets disappear?
- After upgrading from Live 4 to 5?
- After installing some new version of Live 5
(did you ever see presets in Live 5?)

Are there any installed Live Packs listed in the Prefrences->Products ?

Where is Live's Library located (Preferences->Misc->Library Path) and
does this folder contain anything?

hi

thanks for the reply. i've managed to resolve the problem by doing a full reinstall. the issue came from the location option for your library folder. the default location [my documents] is crazy. some how when i have changed location of the folder i have two preset folders one full of folders and the presets, the other full of folders all empty. live was looking at the wrong library location. it may have been a bad merge.

i think it would be better during install if you where asked the location you want the folder to go. i have all my production folders on an external drive.
