Free Air Organ Simpler/Sampler instrument

Post by flavor32 » Sat Feb 28, 2015 2:27 am

Hi, everyone! A couple of days ago I recorded my EMENEE air organ for an upcoming project and ended up sampling each key. I then mapped out the samples and tuned them up because some keys were WAY OUT haha. I created a rack for the new instrument and added in some lively options like a bit of velocity sensitivity (the original instrument has none), auto-panning using aftertouch, tremolo added with the mod wheel, and stereo width control. It's actually quite nice to play and I stretched the range a good bit. I also created some presets to highlight different sounds like slow attack, key click, tone, etc. It's not as meticulous as some commercial releases, but it's better than some I've paid for in the past. I didn't really set sample loop points because I made looooong samples. But, you can add those if you like. There are instructions for saving the instrument into your library included. I made this in Live 9 64 bit.

This new instrument is FREE!
