ASUS or Dell laptop?

I'm looking at the top of the line of both ASUS and DELL.
What would you get?

I like both , I'm pretty happy with my dell inspiron 9100 not a single complaint running with the onboard audio and asio4all at the moment and it holds up very well. Asus are reliable and I alwasy use there components in PC builds.

Depends on what model really.

I was wondering what kind of quality the main boards are that dell uses?

i have a inspiron 8200 2.2GHz Pentium-M 512MB RAM since 3 years now. No problem yet, frequently used for live performance and recordings. i´m more than happy with this one.

i would by again dell, even it´s from the us
