What's Are the Best Mac Audio Editors

I'm looking for the best audio editors no matter whether they're cheap or expensive to go along with the 12"powerbook I'm contemplating, I imagine that means that they will have to be osx compatible, but anyway I'm looking for any and all information about this I can get my hands on so no matter what you use if it runs on osx please post a link or tell me about it.

Hi,

the main products on Mac seem to be:
- TCworks' SparkXL
- Bias' Peak

There should be demos for both. I personally use SparkXL - happy with it.

audacity is pretty simple but it's not half bad, especialy since it's free.

i used spark before..

but audicity is what i used mostly for some reason

i like Spark and Peak. why don't you download some demos when you get a chance and see what you like the best. Spark ME is actually free and very good. still deciding on the PowerBook huh? not to steer you away from it but i think my HD is spinning incorrectly. heading to the Apple Tech right now
