Yep. That looks like a typical Ableton Live crash. We can deduct you're on Live 9.1.7 and OS X 10.10.2.
6.1.9 is suspiciously absent from the report. Connected to Max references is "6.1.8". I'm not sure that's the Max version, but are you running 6.1.8? You should be on Max For Live 6.1.9.
Make some music!

I'm also getting exactly the same problem on a new Macbook Pro 13" (Early 2015, Force Touch) restored from a Time Machine backup of my old Macbook Pro. Crashing to desktop as soon as I open a Max For Live device (even an empty one). Crash report sent to Ableton but I haven't heard anything back yet.
As far as I can remember it was working fine until I installed Java. I had a Max For Live device in my default template and I don't remember any crashes when I first opened Live. I also had to reinstall and reauthorise a few VSTs around the same time too so I'm not sure if either of these have anything to do with the cause.
I also own Max standalone and can open .amxd devices in it with no problems.
***UPDATE - Fixed***
Issue now fixed after contacting Ableton support. They said they were aware of crashing problems with Yosemite and Max and sent me a replacement clang.mxo file which I had to copy to Max/Resources/C74/Extensions/max. Everything worked perfectly again after I replaced the file.

Thanks for posting the Crash - this will be fixed with the next Max update (afaik).

Hello everyone.
I solved this problem by contacting Ableton Customer Service.
You have to replace a file in in home/user directory:
/Applications/Max 6.1/Cycling '74/extensions
The file is "clang.mxo"
Make sure this was done for max 6.1.9 please.
Perhaps this resolves the problem only on my mac but you can try this option.
