m4l parameter mapping + push

hi,
is there a way to re-map the parameters of a m4l device in conjunction with push?...the standard mapping of the ml-185 sequencer doesn't fit my workflow (e.g. on the first bank it's mapped to "aux") so i'd like to change it...if possible...
answers are very welcome!

Hi There,

Open the device and right click somewhere with the patch and select the parameters option...

Here you'll see a list of all the parameters (it's the automated and stored ones that show up as visible to the Push)

You need to change the order numbers to the ones you want!

...ok... i succeeded in finding the parameter objects window!...ha...but: i don't know what kind of parameters to change...all # and map# are set to 0...i can see that the parameters are set up in chronological order like they appear in push's banks but i'm not able to switch them...

You double click on the number and then change it...

...ha, yes, i just downloaded and tested the "mk16"-version (btw: nice job, kapetan) and really dig it!
i'm new to ableton live and especially m4l so right now i don't feel comfortable "programming" devices...

The numbers equal the knob position on Push in the banks.

1-8 are the first 8 knobs on bank 1 on the push
9-16 are the 8 knobs on bank 2 on the push and so on...

So you simply change the number to which knob on which bank you want it to be, you can even skip numbers to leave blank spaces.

it's the map#

If you choose "parameters" from the view menu you'll be able to see and change them all at the same time.

...just wanted to tell that i succeeded in re-mapping the knobs!!!!...i feel kinda like a rocket scientist now...ha...
