Session or Arrangement shouldn't be a question.
Ableton needs to scrap the two screen views and find a way to squeeze everything on one screen. Could be done by letting users resize and customize the window size of each section, even letting people completely close sections if need be like they do already with the browser and detail sections.
This would also fix one of Live's major flaws: it would let users see a proper mixer when viewing the Arrangement screen.
Live's interface kind of sucks. Yeah I said it.

Has it already gone up? Says its 9.99 on the product page, but when i go to checkout, it's 13.99. I'd rather pay the price as displayed thanks.

ctrl + left/right = select transient
ctrl + shift + left/right = select between transients
ctrl + space = play selection

Ah, so it's already out.
Missed that one on the max4live site, or at least the early versions.
