trying to use Live djing
I am trying to use Live dj'ing..I have made a loop of 1 bar that works fine with the other loops but when I want to "release" the loop to play the rest of the song it stops playing..What do I need to do to keep it playing through without looping anymore..but without stopping?

Live doesn't support loop-in-release, so you'll have to make a second clip that contains the rest of your song. After you've looped the "intro" as long as you need to, trigger the full song clip....
cheers

put clip one (the mixing loop) into scene one track one
X - - - -
put clip two (the rest of the song) into scene two track one
X - - - -
X - - - -
trigger clip one, and get the mix just right.
now that you have a second to think, with the arrow keys, highlight scene two.
make any mix adjustments...
get your hand on the crossfader....
hit return and as soon as clip 2 starts SLAM that bad boy over there and you are soooo styling.
people say "damn, my boy can mix the real jams!"
have fun!
