Just something to remember when posting in an unmoderated forum.

We can have all kinds of debates, disagreements etc. but when you know someone is a troll, and they consistently post hateful bullshit, spitting it back just makes it harder to get any real conversations going.
In other words the only way trolls disappear is if you don't feed them by getting upset at their bullshit, or communicating with them. remember this means posts like, " I hope you get AIDS you bottom dwelling scum! " Even that is attention, and what they crave, don't give them any.

Why don't Ableton modetrate this forum? Is this any way to run a commercial forum to let hateful people come on here and offend people? I thought Ableton was a reputable company but it allows offensive trolls to spew their hate on our support forum.

I'm all for freedom of speech. But I'm against trolls who come on here to attack and shut down rights of others. They are against freedom of speech for others so why should they be allowed to promote their hate on this forum?

Get some mods in here and ban the trolls.

I tend to agree with you, I moderate a Forum active moderators are a good thing. And limit this kind of activity.

Bans aren't the answer.... morons like Offender just come back.... It
actually turns them on.... They say "haha you can't get rid of me that
easy".... There are many people like Offender on the internet, they over-
compensate for their own issues and get off on the reaction they get from
people. Truth is in their real lives no one likes or pays proper attention to
them, so they learn the only way to get attention is to be annoying.

Ban the stupid idiot. If he comes back ban him again. Delete his threads and shut his hate down. It's known as 'moderating a forum.' In the end trolls like him get fed up of being banned and go troll some other forum. This strategy works on KVR and other forums I go on so why not here. The more this little troll is left to spew his hate the more he'll do it. If this idiot is left to get away with it he'll keep coming back. Get rid of him and his hate.

It's not a case of 'don't feed the trolls'. It's a case of 'moderate this forum'. It looks like Ableton have deleted his hate filled threads so thanks for that . I hope the rotten apple is removed altogether otherwise he'll post more hate. He'll soon get sick of being banned and having his threads removed and move on. This strategy works on other forums so I don't see why it won't work on here.

Then the forum can go back to talking about Ableton and all related subjects.
