jazzmutant lemur still worth buying?

Anyone use the jazzmutant lemur still?

i have the app on my ipad and really like it but hate taking my ipad in and out my studio and i love the hardware verison of the jazzmutant lemur,does it work with ableton 9 and do you have to use a osc converter still?

Take into account that the lemur hardware has lower resolution and fewer contact points.
