Sync Korg SQ-1 to Ableton - Please help

Hi everyone,
I'd be really grateful if anyone could help me with this.
I've just bought a Korg SQ-1 sequencer to use with my Microbrute.
Try as I might I can't get it to sync to Ableton.
I can sync Ableton to it, but the tempos are a bit erratic and jump around a bit.
One problem is that there are a number of ways of connecting the SQ-1 - I have it connected by usb but I can also take a midi out into my sound card or my microbrute.
I've been wrestling with the midi sync settings and the closest I can get is to turn on the sync and track for the output (SQ-1 CTRL)
This syncs the org to ableton but doesn't make any sound.
Any ideas?

Sorted now.
The problem was that if the sq1 is recieving midi clock then it won't put out midi clock. I connected my microbrute using cv and it's all working now I can even transpose the sequence using the keyboard on the synth.

This is on similar subject but different. Does anyone know if it possible for Live to send tempo to the SQ-1 while the SQ-1 sends a sequence to Live BOTH over USB at the same time? It seems like it wants to do one or the other but maybe I'm missing something straight forward.

No.
This is why I was having trouble.
The sq1 won't send out a sequence while it is being clocked by Ableton.

Ahh, so maybe two way communication is not supported. Perhaps worth a suggestion to Korg as it seems like a nice idea to have save an extra interface/cable.
