Where is Abletons autosave that it uses to 'recover'

Post by Ku77er » Tue Apr 21, 2015 9:18 am

I had a crash, I hadn't saved for about 30 minutes.. 30 of the most productive minutes i've had in YEARS!! How TYPICAL!!

Normally I am a save demon, but today, the first time in forever that I actually got the 'flow' on, I didn't and what happened?????.

I rebooted my machine, (yes that big of a crash) and Ableton FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, did not say 'do you want to recover your work'!!

Poleaxed... Absolutely poleaxed. Will not touch anything until someone tells me where the auto save is...

Please...

Thanks,

Steve

True, that's what it displays when recovering a project.
I would GUESS that the undo history was still there after the crash (which
Live didn't seem to remember) und the reboot, but it might have been deleted
when you started Live hoping it would recover the project... :?

I think all you can do is ask Ableton support.
