Hi,
having some issues exporting video from Ableton.
I have created a video in FCP x, then imported to ableton to write the soundtrack.
When I export the video back out of Ableton, the resolution seems to change - it has a black border at the top of the quicktime window and an black border on the top and bottom when importing it back into FCP x
any idea why this might be happening? i realise using video in Ableton is not that common but if anybody has some suggestions i would appreciate it!
Thanks,
L

Re: Video Export Settings Ableton Live
While Ableton is perfectly capable of exporting video, it isn't one of it's focuses, so there may be a few wobbly bits about video exporting. That being said, I'd try using a different codec for exporting video. What codec are you using right now?
If I were you, I'd export just the audio from Ableton, import it into FCP x, and then export the video from FCPx. You'll have much more control over video export that way.
