Mapping tempo controlls to BT keypad.

Post by William Gibson » Wed May 20, 2015 2:32 am

Hey guys, Had a quick question on mappings a bluetooth keypad. If I have something like this:

http://store.apple.com/us/product/HD389 ... pla-belkin

or this:

Can I map one button to Highlight/select the master tempo, the numbers to type in my master tempo and then another button to act as a "enter" button to instantly change my tempo?

There is a lot of good M4L devices for doing things like rampiing up or down the tempo over a given time or number of beats but im looking for a way to do them more instantly and on the fly when using live for performing. Navigating to the master tempo with the mouse, typing it on the laptop numbers then hitting enter is just too clumsy. a click of a key to get me to the tempo, typing in the number then hitting enter all from a small bluetooth keypad would be so much easier. especially when the keypad is right next to my Ohm RGB and my laptop is elivated up out of the way and off to the side of me.

Thanks in advance for any info on this.
