Hello all!
I'm kinda new to Ableton and discovered the looper plug-in today. I think it's a nice feature but it's very limited for the thing I want to do.
I want to record making a song form sketch with layered drums and midi. I want for every new loop a track because I want some specific sounds/filters for every loop.
What is the best way to do it? Or what are some other ways to do it?
I watched a lot of youtube videos, also this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEiOL6qQ5Ws But I think for my first song it's not necessary to program the midi functions to start recording en stop recording every loop, because then I'm totally stuck at my arrangement (maybe the next step if the arrangement is ready to be played in that form I want it to be played)
Thanks in advance

Probably the best place to start is to get acquainted with Session View.

Thanks for the reply. So far that's clear for me.
