Exporting clips to loops??

Post by stratotak » Sun May 31, 2015 11:32 pm

I mainly use Reaper and Im using Ableton LIve Lite Fender Edition.
I like to use Ableton to record rhythm sections. So ill have guitars, bass, drums and Ill have parts for verse, chorus, bridge, etc.
Can I export out the track clips out as a loop. You know say gtr 1 verse.Export it out as a loop and then I can import them into Reaper.Arrange the loops and then record other linear parts like vocals guitar solo, melodies, etc.

You can drag your clip into Arrangement view, put the locators around that clip and then export the audio. I haven't figured out how to do it from Session view.
iMac, MacBook Pro, Live Suite, Reason, Logic Pro, Melodyne, FL Studio, iConnect Audio4+, Little Martin, ukelele, Greco gtrs, pedalboard, amps, mics .
