14-bit controllers

anyone know of any controllers with 14-bit resolution? will vstis respond to this level of resolution?? standard 7-bit midi controllers baint enough for me any more :wink:

My BCR2000 has 14bit resolution - haven't gotten in to that, though. I'm sure someone else has!

7bit is ok for most stuff, but not for pitch!!!!!

the BCR2k has 14 bit resolution, but when you use it you have to rotate the knobs like 4 times for a full tweak.

Any now with Live 5 you can set the min/max range of control, so 7 bits is much more useful as you can 'target' the range.

you could do this in live 4 too, go to the arrange page and go to master / tempo and put your highest and lowest tempo in there. 7bit controllers are fine for this.

With tempo, yes. But all other controls are assignable this way too in Live 5.
