Help setting up Push

Post by SWAN808 » Wed Jul 01, 2015 12:26 am

Hi All - Im new to Push - Im hoping someone can give me some pointers as to setting it up...

Basically I have folders with various sounds set up on my disk and Im trying to work out the best way to have easy quick access to them. Eg Stab sounds, Kick sounds, Hats etc...

I want to be able to change sample easily - the browser doesnt seem too intuitive for those who want to use their own sounds. I dont have much interest in the Live library...

Are 128s the best way forward or can the browser be structured better? Where do I put my 128s if they are the best?

Also - the 'blue hand' that selects the device - can you move that from Push?

apologies if this is a bit noob...

128*s using drum racks is a good way, but you can also add your sample folder to Live "Places" and browse it from push. One way to get Push to show your samples first is first to follow Live folder structure and then name your samples with 0 at the beggining so they will show up before Live library samples.
