Compressor toggling between GR and Output

Hey all! Im just wondering if any one knows how to see how much GR you are actually applying with the compressor in the activity view?

In the manual it says, "The Activity view shows the level of the input signal in light gray. In this mode, the GR and Output switches toggle between showing the amount of gain reduction in orange or the output level in a darker gray. These views are useful for visualizing what’s happening to the signal over time."

Mine doesn't seem to be doing that! Unless im just blind and stupid...

I'm sure that you are not blind or stupid. Can you see light orange line and darker orange line in (GR) activity view?
I hope that I am not insulting you by running through the simple questions first...

The lighter orange line becomes more jagged the more compression/and or attack & release you add. The darker orange line is the thresshold when compression starts and will be the same level in the output view.
The output view will show the gained output, due to the compression, and will resemble snow capped mountains. Just turn the ratio down and the snowy peaks fall below the threshold. Turn up the ratio and of course the snow capped mountains grow.

If you knew this already then my apologies. Sometimes the grid lines disappear in my viewing windows. If I duplicate the device they come back.

I have come to the conclusion i am definitely not blind, just stupid. Seems i misread what it says in the manual! See what i was actually asking and wondering was if you can see the amount in numeric form!

Like it says threshold amount in the top left in orange i.e. -6db. I want to be able to see the the amount of GR (even though it seeing doesn't really matter, i know!) in numeric form.

not sure that you can. I see where you are coming from though. I think it's all in the ears!
