Hi folks.
I've seen many online tutorials showing how to get the Launchpad to light up in User Mode 1, when you either play some pads, or play back a clip with notes in it. It's clearly explained here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HupQay63NF8
However!
Is there a way to get the drumrack to light up the pads that have samples in them, but the lights stay on whether you're playing the pads or not? In this way you can see which pads have samples and which pads don't, without having to look at the computer.
I hope that makes some sense. I have a feeling what I want to do isn't possible. I once played around with some software that let's you customise the layout of the Launchpad, but it was Windows only and I am only working on a Macbook now.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice!
Cheers

If you have a Launchpad, I would recommend getting LPC:

will do what you're looking for, and a bunch of other stuff too, like scales, step sequencing, clip chopping etc.
