I'm going to throw El Capitan on another partition today and see how it is.

Ah, fuck. Forgot to mention when you are going to install OS updates it’s important that you post “Downloading now. 45 minutes to go.” And if possible give the version a five star rating based entirely on being excited about the download in progress.

Never ever again.

have you complained about this outrage on all of the related forums yet?
if not, don't forget to include a sentence about how each company doesn't care about their users anymore and/or go back and add the mandatory accusation in any thread you failed to point out this factinion on. it's obligatory.

You should probably use the term "finger-pointing" too.

Just wanted to say I finally bought an iPad, used, for my mom.
Just walked her through setting it up.
Funny, next up is my niece, she wants an iPad mini.
I'm very much last in line here.

I watched the rest of the keynote; last time I just checked out Capitan. I think the iOS9 update is pretty cool. I skipped through the watch shit, and then they went into the Music portion which I thought was pretty sad. The celebrity endorsements and 'revolutionary' bs

Looking forward to upgrade to an Air though2. Have to get a current MBP first though for production work

I prefer the liquid-cooled iPad Tower.

New 128GB iPod Touches available now. $400.
Not quite my 160GB Classic that can fit my entire library but I just saw that only 116GB is currently being used.
I’m assuming I could do a onetime wired sync to iTunes to get everything on there and then switch it to cloud sync. I don’t even want to imagine how long it would take to put everything on there using the cloud. With space already tight I’m sure I could easily manually remove a lot of shit I don’t listen to, much easier than picking and choosing before sync.

I assume if I’m rocking an iPod Touch I’ll be able to have offline music from Apple Music on it (which I can’t on an iPod Classic) and then I’ll be able to create a “review before buy” playlist which I can review while driving. I wish there was a way to rate songs on my car stereo’s touch screen.
Anybody using the Podcast app? I've heard bad things about it syncing weird, not downloading new episodes, or magically deleting episodes you haven't listened to yet. I'm a big podcast guy but to this point it's all been wire syncing from iTunes to my iPod Classic. Old school micromanagement.

I don’t think Siri works offline and I don’t talk to inanimate objects. I’m not that lonely. Yet.

It's not like you're not asking for companionship, beats. But go ahead, potentially kill someone for fucking with a screen while driving.
And welcome to the 21st century. Forget about the premium you paid whilst ignoring something useful.

I also pay Comcast for 500 sports stations I will never watch, but removing those stations from the package would increase my bill because that’s the world we live in now.
But again, I don’t think Siri works offline. We’re talking about an iPod here, not an iPhone. Also my car stereo isn’t some fancy CarPlay model. It’s little more than a folder diving style interface. Even using the phone over Bluetooth requires me use the touch screen on the stereo. I can’t yell out to either my car or Siri to make calls, which is retarded because even cars five years older than mine can at least do that.
