I am using ableton for live shows and I have a bit of an issue. I use Push to trigger drum clips on one track, a midi keyboard for live bass on a second track, and a midi keyboard on a third track for live synth parts. I have the "Midi From" for each track set to the midi devices so that one device only plays the respective midi track. The 2nd and 3rd tracks need to be armed in order to play the parts along with the drums on track 1, however when I trigger a new scene a new clip starts recording on the 2nd and 3rd tracks. How can I play along with drums without recording new clips everytime?
Thanks
How To Prevent Clip From Recording While Track is Armed?

Does changing monitoring to "In" instead of "Auto" resolve the problem? You might not even need te track Armed anymore when you have it set up like that.

AH yes, exactly what I needed. Way more simple than I expected, thanks for the quick response!yur2die4 wrote:Does changing monitoring to "In" instead of "Auto" resolve the problem? You might not even need te track Armed anymore when you have it set up like that.
