Eazy E was the only gang banger in the group from what I recall. I think you and bitchy are missing the 'street reporter' part of what they did, even Eazy E wasn't for living the lifestyle he sang about, it's a first person narrative, not a confession in a holding cell. His comments after Tupac died were on those lines, that Tupac was trying to keep it 'street' when he had the opportunity to get away from that, and in a way that's what killed him. Dre started Death Row with Shug Knight, and you really cannot get more gangsta than Shug. He's currently looking at life for running over two of the movie crewmen, one of them died. Doesn't matter that Dre never was a banger if he's around Eazy, Shug, Tupac, and Snoop Dog.
