It would be nice to be able to set up Ableton (A) the way u want it to look. I still can't see any any real advantage to having the track controls on the right of the arrange window instead of the conventional left side so it would be good to have the choice to re-arrange the panels and save them as workspaces like cubase.

Keyboard shortcuts need sorting too: Ctrl-Shift-F just to set up Follow, why not just F, and also why is the Page/Scroll option in preferences, why can't u access this by right clicking on the follow button?

zooming: one finger to zoom out (minus key) , 2 fingers to zoom in (shift =), why ?
the + key has a plus sign on it so I shouldn't need to use the shift key just because that is how u access the + sign. using - and = would be far more smoother and quicker.

Generally we need greater use of one finger KB shortcuts (KBS) across the programme.
Also we need a KBS for zooming out to show everything. There's too much mouse activity in A, double clicking the timeline to zoom out is clunky and doesn't work properly anyway.

Also there is no KBS for scrolling the arrange window ie fast forward and rewind?
Most DAWS have this. Again I find using ctrl-mouse-wheel clunky.I know u can use your midi controller but I haven't always got that switched on.

I salivate over the features Cubase has now so unless Ableton gets an overhaul I'll probably jump ship.
