Crash when Consolidating Audio track sections

I've been having this problem for 6 months now where ableton crashes when I try to consolidate a section of an audio track or when i try to freeze an instance of sampler with an audio file loaded into sampler.

to remedy this I have tried:
collecting all and saving so a copy of the audio file I am working on is saved along with the ableton project files so it's easier for ableton to find and locate.

I have replaced my hard drive to a Solid State Drive for faster read and write

I have tried adjusting the audio sampling etc... without any success .

my custom PC specs are
CPU: AMD FX 8320 8core 3.70Hz
RAM: 16GB
HARD drive: SSD 500gb (where installed programs live) and aditional 125ssd and 1tb 7200rpm for storage
steinberg UR22 audio interface
