so at the party everyone is using the xone db2 and two highend pioneer cdj's with usb sticks that i don't remember the model
my question is, if i have my laptop, ableton and apc mini, how can i get my setup to work with theirs?
apc mini & xone db2
Re: apc mini & xone db2
I have a DB2, works great as a PC interface for me but apparently still has some issues with older Macbooks. I would make sure you don't have one of those models if you plan on using it as an interface.

Re: apc mini & xone db2
cutflow
download and install Allen & Heath DB2 drivers.
Then select that as your audio interface inside Live.
Live Master to 1&2, Live cue to 3&4.
Live 1&2 is really DB2 channel 1
Live cue is really DB2 channel 2
Keep the channel 2 fader down all the way, but activate cue on the DB2.
Keep the channel 1 fader all the way up.
Now you can essentially mix in the box with your APC Mini the way I assume you are accustomed to. You are using the DB2 as a 4 channel audio interface, not as a mixer.
