Sounds even better, they have most of the tools needed for a decent portable groovebox. Including the engine of the Drum Station, Ultranova and Bass Station II. Just add a tight integration with Ableton Live and a right price to compete with the Electribe 2.

If they make it a sampler with ample of sample space (prefereably extendable), I'd probabaly get that over the Electribe Sampler!

Specially if they use the launchpad layout to launch the samples and add the analog filter and distortion from the BS II.

Launch OR Step sequence!!! 8)

Really Korg really let me down with the ElectribeSampler. I think there is a niche for Novation to swoop in and save the day.

I've been spoiled by the Obscurium lately, to have something like that as a hardware is going to be cool.

The electribe sampler is not bad, just didn't ring the bell yet. It's 2016 soon, just about the time for something fresh, innovative and modern.

That £ price is spot on, didn't realise the euro was so weak at the moment...

It's a brilliant box of fun, and a serious bit of kit...

It might be worth adjusting your comment just incase they get tearful about their NDA.
It generally doesn't matter if somebody else has spilled the beans, you usually aren't allowed to say "yep, them's the beans". I mean, you'll probably get away with it - but moody product managers are unpredictable when injured.

I think the music production world has answered the question “Can there ever be too many options?” with “Yes, there can be.”, second to possibly Stars Wars merchandise licensing.
