Sample Delay in Live anyone?

Post by steffensen » Sun Mar 21, 2010 10:41 am

I wish the Simple Delay could be adjusted in samples, and not only in milliseconds. Is there anything else than can?
I dont wanna do this on the actual track, as i use things in a rack, that needs some adjustments.

WOW. I want to try this Track Delay thing on a Return channel feeding to itself and see where it ends up. haha

Okay, tried it. Requires two send channels.. Not sure if there is anything inbetween screwing with the sample amount though.

I LOVE the sample delay in Logic - gives a nice thickness to snares, hats, etc.

Trying to do the same with Voxengo sound delay in Ableton and can't seem to get any results. Using the samples section....tried routing dual mono....anyone have any luck with this plug and can give some guidance?

OK I figured it out. Has to be set to dual mono then you click the "L" and "R" buttons to set each side. Try this out (set at around 50 - 100 samples on one side) if you want to fatten up an individual drum sound.
