transport / scrub controls on ipad / iphone

it just occured to me that my iphone would be great to be able to just drag my finger along and move the play head along the arrangement, or up and down to scroll along tracks as a little app.

is there something that already does this because it'd be a little thing that'd be very useful and timesaving imo
