After years of learning now my first track, please feedback

Post by Danny_DJ » Sun Oct 04, 2015 10:50 am

Hey guys,

I own Ableton Live for 6 years now and finally made a whole electronica track including self-mastering. It's entirely created in the box.

Please feedback on:
Relative levels
Track separation
Stereo image
Homogenity
Loudness

and anything else you think considerable.
What is good, what needs to be improved on?

I've always been quite techy and read tons of stuff on basics like mixing, synthesis, mastering and some music theory. Also, my listening setup is quite good (except for the room - will move soon - but I got used to its characteristics). I also went off the track for some days often to start over with fresh ears and had first listenings with eyes closed to discover what needs improvement. So I hope that this first strike has a somewhat no-so-low-quality as many other first works.

Thanks a lot in advance guys

Cheers,
Danny

Hey guys, I got some feedback and reworked the track in a lot of details. Most important, I inserted a solo bass part and enhanced made the melodies' ambience.

Feel free to feedback, download and listen to the history here:
