what are my options for Midi Show Control (MSC) in Ableton?
i know Bome Software makes a translator and QLab can translate, but it seems natural to me
the Live (or Max For Live) would provide a robust implementation of this. as a Live sound designer
in live theater i sort of take it on the chin a lot when i want to interact with my lighting and video design
colleagues using professional lighting boards and video systems like Watchout.
it would be wonderful if Live's midi could address MSC natively or through MAX.
i think i saw one max patch that would allow Live to slave from a lighting board.
can Live be a command center?
is anyone in this boat? and how are they rowing it?
