I think that's a key point. And not while not wishing to appear an Alan Carr groupie, he does say something like "it doesn't take willpower. How much willpower does it take not to get on a 73 bus when you don't WANT to get on a 73 bus?"
Best wishes to you all.

Hi conny, how was Zürich?
Good to hear you're all still off cigs.
Just hit 4 months myself. Really think I did it this time. Great! :)
Have to watch the alcohol thing though.

Hi Hansje, I liked Zürich a lot. Trams, the nice location at the Zürichsee, the mountains. Nice people and the women in stores etc I talked to were extremely kind and warm, I fell in love with all of them.
Culture mix interesting, the banks and insurance business alongside the radical movement from the days of dada (I happened to walk into Café Voltaire, the place where Hugo Ball and others changed what poetry and performance could be for all of us).
Met minimal from this forum, nice and friendly guy.
Loop festival, good but to much guitars. A pity Per Boysen couldn't get his saxophone on the plane, allthough he did a beautiful piece on his flute.
Bad thing, I was hit in the head on a bar in Stockholm the evening before flying and my digtal camera didn't work...
I'll love to go back there.

Hugo Ball, Hans Arp, wow,

"Art for us is an occasion for social criticism, and for a real understanding of the age we lived in"
The looping community sure could use a bit of that spririt.
Damn, I bet they were all smokers :?

here's one from picasso i like - i forget, did he smoke?

"What do you think an artist is? An imbecile who only has eyes if he's a painter, ears if he's a musician, or a lyre in every chamber of his heart if he's a poet or even, if he's a boxer, only some muscles? Quite the contrary, he is at the same time a political being constantly alert to the horrifying, passionate or pleasing events in the world, shaping himself completely in their image."

conny man!
you're doing kobra poetry in pan-germanic! :D
mix that with dada means we need to hear you. not just read.
i kinda passed my secondary school exams with an essay on this sort of stuff.
the baseline being that it isn't feasible without proper chemical aid.

I'm sober as a rock.
Just have this gene for text, language, speach.
I would gladly dress up like Hugo Ball in paper boxes and do this live.
And, no surprise, a have almost read Finnegan's wake cover to cover.

without mentioning the context or the rules you just startre
well at least now you know some of us ain't chicken hearte

but just to show that I'm up to playing your game
ich habe blabba mein ick ptuing taflame
prthuing huktunk fluming FLUTBLAU da poot

so i hope you realise this is all fun and games
and don't take it to heart coz that'd be lame
so don't be insulted by my stupid rhyme
feelings like that ain't worth a dime
you're so james joycean germanic style
but that shit's been whack for a long while

hey bato loco come and check out my ride
we'll roll through the east side like bonnie and clyde
you talk in your dada da dada da dada da way
and i'll just explain to everyone that you're ok
