Ableton live midi routing

Hey there,
Maybe someone can help me with following problem:

I want to route a hardware controller to a specific software instrument. I wanna achieve this without having the controller to send midi notes/cc in a channel where "all ins" and "all channels" is selected. In short, i want a dedicated midi in to instrument solution. Any ideas? Help is appreciated a lot!

Set the controller to send out on a specific midi channel. Set the midi track to receive on a specific midi channel

Hey there, thanks for your answer! The problem is that the controller would still affect other live tracks which have "all ins" selected. I want to keep it that way because for all these other instruments i wanna be able to play them with my different controllers and keyboards that are running on different midi channels.

Its a bit tricky i guess, but i appreciate your thoughts on that one!
