yeah, i have to hold my hand up and apologise for lack of hollering on our part here.

i guess when we are not so busy working on exciting new projects (coming your way soon) we might get our act together and actually advertise our wares :-)

that was a small update fixing a bug that some users had with persistence of the sync modes of the repeat dials. we actually have a slightly bigger update in the works which we will definitely aim to advertise better.

That sounds, as my swelling reverb delay does, marvellous!

stkr from surreal machines here. sorry it took me a while to see your posts.

so, that is not cool about your longer load times. sorry for your troubles.

it is strange. we test everything in betas before full releases, and we have not had these issues with 9.5, but i could be mistaken ;-) . i would not get nervous about your long load times, so long as everything still works once loaded. but it is lame, and i would like to help fix this for you.

we recently released an update (about a month ago) which you can get by simply redownloading the pack from your packs page and reinstalling the pack.

please email me at support ( [email protected] ) with the following infos:

- what exact os ? (there may be some windows 10 issues)
- 32 or 64 live?
- what version of max?

remember - 'version of max' also requires you look at your ableton live prefs and check in the file/folder tab that live is pointed to your correct max version.

let me know in support,
all the best,
stkr .
Hi there!

Updated. Seems a bit better now. I dunno but seeing other people reporting same thing i guess it's normal then? And from what i understand it does not have anything with your DSP or something it's Max thng?

Well i only hope M4Live will get better care and faster loading times.

Someone mentioned it already and yes this is (i will repeat) my best purchased Ableton pack by a mile.

Why?

Reverb - ok nothing super real like Relab LX480 or VSS3 but this reverb is surreal and can give nice atmospheric spaces.

But real star is Magnetic. I literally tried every tape delay plugn out there. I have uad, tried ton of other things. Only tape delay which is packed with nice features but most importat - sound - is your Magnetic and Soundtoys Echoboy. Nothing can beat these two. I compared Magnetic to my hardware tape delays and what i liked is (can't find better word) musicality of delays. They behave as on hardware roland tape delay.

I only miss "groove" and "feel" option which can be found on Echoboy. It is something which will make your delays even more rhytmic in superb way. But that's just me.

Everything in Magnetic is spectacular including compressing effects when you engage tape fx and drive it. Real gem.

Dub Machines is 22 Euros until monday!

Don't miss out on this gem! Note you must have Max For Live if you missed that detail. That's also lower in price right now.
