While browsing and choosing samples one at a time you also realize how much filler is on most full packs and you also find good material in packs you probably wouldn’t purchase, like finding vocal samples in a Trap pack but you don’t write Trap music and would never look there if you were forced to buy the whole pack.
It is great, i don't like the way samples are organised though so i just search loop, perc etc in Live. Planning to organise then into racks now that simpler has slicing but will wait till 9.5 is stable.

Yeah there is a lot of filler, i've never used all the samples in a pack i've bought but i'll use all the samples i downloaded from Splice and can gradually build up my own custom library. Great for searching out sounds for the next track as well. :)

It’s great that they have their own menu bar app so you can just drag samples from there to your DAW instead of dicking around with folders, but they really need to add a way to organize it instead of just a list of every sample you’ve downloaded with unhelpful names. I don’t know what “LPN Dragon_Fart 90” is.

I’m still constantly discovering features on the site, either new or new to me, like the tempo bar where you can tell it to only display loops in a set tempo range. I also used to create playlist folders for later review and downloading, but now I just check boxes next to every sample I want in a pack and download all of them with a single click.

i'm not in the habit of installing anything like that...

question to anyone; if you downloaded say... the "Monster Kicks" how/where would you install them?
i'm curious what people do with these kinds of random-ish downloads...

maybe this is a bit of a thread jack... sorry, but maybe it's just a bump.
