ShowDeviceSlots not working with Live 9.5 ?

Hello,

just noticed that the -ShowDeviceSlots command in the options.txt file do not activate the slots in the session view, while the EnableMapToSiblings works fine.

Anyone knows if it's a 9.5 issue ?

Works for me in 9.5. What does your file look like, and where is it located?

well, the Options.txt file is in users/xxx/appdata/roaming/ableton/live 9.5/preferences.

it looks like a txt file with -ShowDeviceSlots and -EnableMapToSiblings in it, I don't know how else to describe it !

As mentioned, the map to siblings works fine with the racks.

SOLVED The problem was I named the file "Options.txt"....bad idea...just renamed it "Options" and all works fine, the device slots are now active.
The EnableMapToSiblings seems to be fully part of Live 9.5, 'cause I've deleted the command but it still active in the drum racks.

Ah, that's because you have hidden known file extensions in Windows, so your file was really named "Options.txt.txt"

You can show file extensions in Windows by going to Control Panel -> File Explorer Options -> View -> and deselect "Hide extensions for known file types".

No, Options.txt, with a capital "O". The "txt" part is the extension and not part of the file name itself. "Options.txt.txt" will not work.

Yeah i had file extensions hidden in Windows7. So It didnt show .txt twice.
Simple mistake, learn and move on.
