Are Dxi plugins supported?

Post by jlanpheer » Sat Sep 03, 2005 12:59 am

I have Live 4, but i'd also be curious about 5. I have the Antares Filter and kantos Dxi versions (to run in Sonar). I copied the dll for each into my custom VST plugin folder and rescanned my plugins. They don't show up and i'm wondering if i need to have the VST version of each of these programs to run them in Live 4 and also Live 5 (if anyone has any experience with that).

cheers,
jim.

Nope, not supported. There is a Vst->DX wrapper floating around however...

Actually, if Live supports Audio Units in Mac OS X, for symmetry's sake it could (should?) support DXis in Windows. Maybe there just isn't so much demand for that.
