hi,
I just buyed a push and yeah its cool, but did you guys even thought about layering drums? Seems that the developers never layer drums
So i searched and found how its ment to layer drums, here:
https://www.ableton.com/de/blog/make-pe ... nny-kiser/
You can add instrument rack into a drum rack pad but then? Im I doing something wrong? when I want to add a sample into the
instrument rack - it replaces the instrument rack.

Hey,
I have the same problem.
What DOES work is, you can load a Drum Rack and browse for Samples and fill up your Drum Rack with a different sample for each Pad.
But yeah I wish the Instrument Rack could be filled with instruments, I'd really like to layer a bunch of samples with multiple simplers when using Push (2).

you could make an empty drumrack with multiple chains per pad and save it. then you can load this template from Push every time you wanna layer drums.
You can access chains within racks by holding down the rack selector button.
Thinking about it, it's not ideal though...it still won't help with layering onto existing drumracks.
