or3. group the tracks with the clips you want to fade and use the fader of the group track.
4. route the audio outputs of those tracks into an empty audio track and record-arm it. use its fader to do the fading.
ah I see. Something like edit multiple object at the same time.erikomic wrote:@pencilrocket > Thanx for helping BUT
he means Region Fade not mixing fade.
Like if you want to do a crossfade on Eight different tracks at the same time...
The "cmd-alt-F" option in arrangement view.
Thank you, works great! Still, Ableton should implement a way to apply fades to a selection of multiple clips, especially when you want to edit the default slope/curve.benjamin' wrote:I would like to see the crossfade function (alt cmd F) available for multiple clips. This would make editing drums less time consuming.
I'm using version 8 of ableton, perhaps this function is available now in 9, I don't know.
I have found a work around which is ok.
1. Highlight the region you'd like to crossfade on one track and hit alt cmd F
2. Use the down arrow to select the identical region in the next track below.
3. Repeat these steps until your entire multitrack recording is crossfaded.
