Does the M-Audio SP-2 work with the push 2 controller? Just want to launch the record function.
Anyone recommend a flat style pedal like the Yamaha FC-5?

it's the polarity of the pedal that you need to get right (whether the electrical switch is open or closed when the pedal is depressed). Yamaha and Roland pedals are wired the wrong way around for Push. M-Audio works out of the box.
IMO the best idea is to get a pedal with a polarity switch, that way it is guaranteed to work with anything.
